March 20th marks the official first day of spring, and I am one happy soul. I am a sunshine girl, and my power time of the year is kicking off. Festival season is upon us. It’s time to play outside. Wear your sundresses and flip-flops. Splash in the puddles. Take nature walks, go picnicking, and admire the scenery. Watch a baseball game, throw a frisbee, fly a kite. Sit on the porch, page through a book. Go on bike rides, run by the river. Stretch out in the tall green grass, bask in the sunshine. Feast on fresh fruit, wander through the farmer’s market. However it is you decide to celebrate the season, enjoy it.
